PCSL SOLICITS INPUT FROM MEMBER CLUBS ON LEAGUE FUTURE
January 20, 2009 - By Len McAdams, PCSL President
The PCSL has a seventy-five year history in the development of senior soccer in British Columbia.
The League has undergone many changes during this long history. For example, only four teams participated in the 1973 season, thirty-one teams will be playing in the 2009 season. With the ongoing growth of the game and the PCSL come many challenges that must be met for the League's continued success.
The Board of Directors is currently addressing the future needs of the PCSL and is in the process of formulating a business plan to carry the League forward.
Member clubs have played a large part in the current success of the PCSL so input from all clubs to aid in this process would be greatly appreciated. We are continually looking for ways to improve our product and we encourage all clubs to express their views relating to the future of the League.
As the plan develops we will keep everyone informed. A complete report will be tabled at the 2009 AGM. Please let us have your thoughts, contact Len McAdams or Dave Collard.
