ABOUT VICTORIA UNITED

Victoria United FC are members of the Pacific Coast Soccer League (PCSL), a recognized Division III league in the American Soccer Pyramid which features teams from western Canada and the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. The team was formed as a merger of two Victoria teams, Victoria Association Football Club, and Victoria Capitals. Being formed in 1904 makes it one of the oldest surviving sports clubs in North America.

Victoria United are a not for profit society made up of supporters of the beautiful game from all around the Capital Regional District and Southern Vancouver Island. We are United in a desire to provide local fans and players the most competitive and entertaining soccer possible.

On the heels of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, Victoria United are proud to return to Royal Athletic Park for the 2008 soccer season. This Tuesday February 5th 2008 Victoria United will be releasing the 2008 season tickets to the public as well as unveiling the new revamped online home of your Victoria United (www.victoriaunited.com). With the new season still several months away, the non-profit soccer team have been busy with their 2008 season preparation.

United season ticket holders not only receive tickets for all Senior Men’s team regular season games at Royal Athletic Park this year, they also receive tickets for all United U-21 home games in the regular season. The complete package of is worth $40, and gives the ticket holder 13 home matches at Royal Athletic Park.

Coach Ben Hooker will be returning to the club after a successful first season, winning both the League and Challenge cup in 2007. “My first season was definitely a challenge, but I couldn’t have been happier with the way the boys played”, stated Coach Hooker. “I am really looking forward to the upcoming season and believe this will be one of the most exciting years to be a United fan”.
