PCSL

The Directors understand that circumstances may be such that not all PCSL member clubs will necessarily be able to represent the PCSL in Provincial Cup play. With this in mind and to aid in planning and preparation, the directors request that PCSL clubs who do have an interest in pursuing a potential provincial cup spot should they qualify under the PCSL participation rules attached, please let the League know by email as soon as possible so that we can notify the BC Soccer Association early and get early confirmation.

Expressions of interest are invited from clubs in all PCSL divisions. Please express your interest by email to info@pcsl.org. Your email should state very clearly the relevant team/club names and PCSL divisions and that your club is interested in representing the PCSL in provincial cup play, please don't leave us to figure this out from your email address!

The Pacific Coast Soccer League in the past always participated in the Provincial A Cup Tournament, frequently doing very well. In 2008, after considerable work with the BCSA and the winter leagues and after years of lapsed participation we reclaimed the spot to which the PCSL is entitled. At the invitation of the Directors the Vancouver Thunderbirds represented the PCSL in the 2008 Men's Open A Cup tournament and did well, reaching the semi-finals.

It is the intention of the Directors to continue and expand PCSL participation in the Provincial Cup in 2009 and beyond with entries in men's and women's Open A and Under 21 Cup tournaments. To that end the Directors have published a document entitled 'PCSL Rules Regarding Participation in Provincial A Cup Tournaments'. This document can be found under the Administration tab on the navigation menu.
